Purpose of the function

The strategy assistant within Esschert Design BV is the organizing force behind the Board. The strategy assistant facilitates in all kinds of facets, so that the Board can do their work at a strategic level and in the decision-making process as effectively as possible. In addition, he/she is the right hand of the management, he/she works closely with them and supports them in terms of content. He/she plays a role in various strategic projects that are high on the agenda.

The process

Make the decision-making within the Board as efficient as possible. Ensure that the right topics are covered and that they are tested in advance for quality and content and that the Board makes concrete decisions. This also includes recording matters such as the agenda setting and taking minutes with action list and decisions.

Support

Supports the management in their tasks. Advises on strategic themes and projects and is able to prepare relevant analyses, reports and presentations. Establishes and maintains relationships on his own initiative with other departments and relevant external parties.

Day to day decision making

In addition to attending all board meetings, also participates in sub-meetings of management within the organization where necessary and ensures correct prioritization and decision-making.

Reporting and progress

Periodically reports on the status of his/her work to the Board. In addition, he/she must report on progress and details with the aim of providing the Board with timely current and relevant information.

Knowledge and experience

• WO work and thinking level
• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with making (ppt) presentations
• Fluent Dutch and English in word and writing
• Due to the international character of the organization, additional languages ​​are an advantage
